India hopes Tehran summit will be new chapter in NAM history: Indian FM

TEHRAN, Aug.29(MNA) – India is hopeful that the 16th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Tehran, which opened on August 26 and closes on August 31, will be a new chapter in the history of the NAM, Indian Foreign Minister S. M. Krishna told Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi during a meeting in Tehran on Monday. During the meeting, Salehi described Tehran-New Delhi relations as close and said that the two countries have great potential which should be utilized to cement ties in all spheres.
