Indictments issued for new defendants in $2.6b fraud case

TEHRAN,June 27(MNA) - The judge in the $2.6 billion financial fraud case announced on Tuesday that indictments have been issued for a number of new defendants. Speaking to reporters, Nasser Seraj said that the case already involved 39 defendants. Elsewhere in his remarks, Seraj stated that the trial of the 39 defendants will probably end in the holy month of Ramadan, in mid-summer.
