Qom, Jan 11, IRNA – Vice-Chancellor of Indonesian State University said on Sunday the Muslims must remedy backwardness by relying on commonalties and distance from disputes to bolster Islamic brotherhood. Indonesian official: Brotherhood can remedy Muslims backwardness 'We should all rely on shared beliefs and refrain from disputes, shaking each others' hand friendly and brotherly to remedy the backwardness of the Muslim World and save those Islamic countries that are under the unjust oppression of the westerners,' said Professor Ahmad Sivan during a visit of the late Grand Ayatollah Najafi Mar'ashi Library. He said that the grand religious leaders and prominent clergies throughout the Islamic world are responsible to block the path for growth and expansion of the Takfiri mentality in any possible way. 'They should inform the Islamic nations of their duties and the perils of the Takfiri mentality, and refrain from desecration of the sanctities of the others,' said Professor Sivan.
