Iranˈs Foreign Ministry Has New Spokesman

Tehran, May 12, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister in Asia and Pacific Affairs Abbas Araqchi has been appointed as the Ministryˈs new spokesman after resignation of former spokesman Ramin Mehman-parast. According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department on Saturday, following resignation of Mihman-parast, who is a candidate for the 11th presidential election, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Akbar Salehi appointed Araqchi as the new spokesman of the Ministry. He will hold his previous post, too. Mehman-parast, in a letter to Foreign Minister Salehi, resigned from his post to be able to attend the presidential election./end
