Iran’s duo wrestlers win gold in Olympic Games qualifying

TEHRAN,April 30(MNA)--Iran’s Greco-Roman wrestlers Habibollah Akhlaghi and Parviz Hadi claimed gold medals at the World Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Taiyuan, China. In the men's Greco-Roman 84kg class, Akhlaghi defeated Nenad Zugaj from Croatia in the final and won the gold medal. The Iranian wrestler had already booked a place in Olympics. In the 120kg class, Parviz Hadi advanced to final, winning because his German rival Nick Matuhin was forced to withdraw due to a neck injury. Hadi also qualified for the Olympics. The top three wrestlers in each weight class qualified for Olympics.
