Iran calls for closer strategic ties with Iraq: Iranian securirty official

TEHRAN,May 11(MNA) – Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said on Thursday that Tehran is ready to expand strategic cooperation with Baghdad in various areas. Jalili made the remarks in a meeting with Adel Abdul-Mahdi, a member of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq and former vice president.
