Iran can withstand pressure of sanctions:Ahmadinejad

TEHRAN,Nov.10(MNA) – During a press conference on the sidelines of the Fifth Bali Democracy Forum, which was held in Nusa Dua, Indonesia, on Wednesday and Thursday ,Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was asked about the problems that have been created for Iran because of the sanctions that certain Western countries have imposed on the country. Ahmadinejad said that it is true that certain problems have been created for the country, but “these problems are not as great as Western and related media outlets are stating. The Iranian nation has withstood greater pressures, and it will overcome this problem through reliance on its capabilities.” “It would be in European governments’ interests if they had sought the path of friendship instead of aligning themselves with the Zionists and showing hostility toward the Iranian nation,” he added.
