Iran congratulates Pakistan Muslim League on election victory

TEHRAN,May 13(MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Araghchi on Sunday congratulated the victory of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in the country’s parliamentary election the previous day. Araghchi hailed the high turnout for the election and welcomed the “legal” transition of power in the country. He also expressed hope that relations between Tehran and Islamabad would continue to increase.
