Iran congratulates Syria on recapture of Qusayr

TEHRAN,June 8(MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi hailed the Syrian Army for retaking the key town of al-Qusayr, which served as a stronghold for the foreign-sponsored militants fighting against Bashar al-Assad’s government. During a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem on Wednesday, Salehi congratulated the government and people of Syria on the victory.
