Iran demands access to nationals held in S. Arabia

TEHRAN, May 6 (MNA) – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hassan Qashqavi demanded consular access to eight Iranian nationals being held in a prison in the Saudi city of Dammam, who had been sentenced to death for involvement in drug trafficking. I Qashqavi called on Saudi officials to comply with international convections and honor their promises and allow Iran consular access to its nationals imprisoned in Saudi Arabia.
