Iran Enjoys Highest Security Level In Region: Police Chief

Tehran, Aug 12, IRNA - Police Chief Brigadier General Esmail Ahmadi-Moqaddam said here Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran enjoys the highest level of security in the region. Addressing a press conference, Ahmadi-Moqaddam underlined that the Iranian military forces are fully ready to monitor the entire border lines, adding there is no terrorist base anywhere in the country. He stressed that certain terrorist groups that were active in several mountainous areas in the country's eastern and central provinces in the past 12 years are now completely destroyed./end
