Iran has not stopped 20% uranium enrichment: Iranian MP

TEHRAN,Nov.5(MNA) – On Sunday, an Iranian MP rejected reports that Tehran suspended enriching uranium to a purity of 20% in preparation for talks with the major powers. “The 20% enrichment has not been and will not be stopped in Iran,” said Mohammad Hassan Asafari, a member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee. However, he added as it had been previously announced in the nuclear talks with the major powers the Islamic Republic is ready to temporarily buy the nuclear fuel enriched to 20% if the sanctions against the country are lifted.
