Iran To Host NAM Ministerial Meeting On Tourism In 2013

Tehran, Nov 5, IRNA - Vice President and Head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Manouchehr Jahanian said on Sunday Tehran will host a Non-Aligned Movement ministerial meeting on tourism in 2013. He said the meeting would be held on a proposal by the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai during the 94th session of the executive council of the United Nations' World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) held on October 24 and 25 in the city of Campeche in Mexico. After returning back home from the meeting, Jahanian described the meeting as fruitful and said the proposal was accepted by all participating ministers. He also described his meeting with the Mexican minister of tourism as fruitful and a base for further cooperation between the two countries' tourism sectors./end
