Iran insists on its right to use of nuclear energy:Iranian official

TEHRAN,Sept.27(MNA) – The deputy secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Ali Baqeri, said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic insists on its right to have a civilian nuclear energy program. Baqeri, who is also the country’s deputy chief nuclear negotiator, commented on the meeting between SNSC Secretary Saeed Jalili and European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on September 18 in Istanbul, saying that after the meeting, Ashton described the talks as positive and constructive.
