Iran, Iraq call for cementing parliamentary ties

TEHRAN,July 15(MNA) – In a meeting in Tehran on Saturday Alaeddin Boroujerdi, chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, and Humam Hamoudi, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Iraqi parliament, called for consolidation of ties in all spheres, particularly parliamentary ties. During the meeting, Hamoudi emphasized the necessity of implementing agreements previously signed between the two countries and expressed hope that parliamentary relations would be cemented.
