Iran keen to expand ties with India: Iranian Majlis Speaker

TEHRAN, June 7 (MNA) - Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani met with the head of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department in Tehran on Wednesday. During the meeting, Larijani said that cultural affinities have helped increase cooperation between Iran and India. The Indian official described Iran as a significant country in the region and said that strengthening ties with the Islamic Republic is a priority in the Indian foreign policy.
