Iran Min. Asks Artists To Show Innocence Of Palestinians To World People

Jiroft, Kerman Prov., Nov 21, IRNA – Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini said here on Tuesday that artists should show innocence of Palestinians to world people. "Since the usurper Israel has tried to show to the world that Gazans are war-monger, so artists have the duty to show innocence of the Palestinian people to the world," said Hosseini in an interview with reporters when asked what a message he would send to his counterparts in Muslim states in reaction to Zionist regime's crimes given Iran's presidency of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). He said, "Our message as ministers of culture, arts and idea is that we should not keep mum on brutality of the usurper regime." He said Muslim states shoulder a grave responsibility to help end the war. He recalled the 33-day war of Lebanon and said the movie, 33-Day, was made in that connection and now artists should take action and portray different aspects of the crimes to world people./end
