Iran, Montenegro Stress Expansion Of Bilateral Co-op

Belgrade, Feb 24, IRNA – Iranˈs non-resident Ambassador to Montenegro Abolqasem Delfi and Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic in a meeting in Podgorica on Friday stressed promotion of bilateral cooperation. Delfi, who is also Iranˈs Ambassador to Serbia, said Tehran and Podgorica are capable of boosting cooperation in energy, tourism, agriculture, industry and economy. He then referred to key roles parliamentary friendship groups can play in expansion of cultural and political relations between the two countries. Delfi also elaborated on Iranˈs peaceful nuclear program, stressing the latest report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) proved that Tehran never diverted from the international rules. Montenegrin president, too, called for further expansion of all-out cooperation with Iran. As to Iranˈs peaceful nuclear activities, Vujanovic expressed hope that future talks between Tehran and the sextet—the US, UK, France, China and Russia plus Germany—would be fruitful./end
