Iran President Condoles With Venezuela On Chavez Death

Tehran, March 6, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Wednesday expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Venezuelan government and nation on the sad demise of the late President Hugo Chavez. In his message, President Ahmadinejad paid homage to Chavez and referred to him as the symbol of fighters in Latin America history and forerunner of establishment of friendship among nations. President Ahmadinejad also condoled with Chavez family members on the sad occasion. President Chavez died on Tuesday, March 5, at the age of 59 after suffering from cancer for years. Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias was born on July 28, 1954 and was known as leader of ˈBolivar Revolutionˈ because of his policies and opposition to the US foreign policy.
