Iran Ready To Cooperate with Fact-finding Committee On Imam Sadr

Tehran, Sept 29, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister in Arab and African Affairs said Iran is ready for joint cooperation with fact finding committee on Imam Mussa Sadr dossier. Hossein Amir-Abdullahian made the remarks here on Saturday in a meeting with officials from Imam Mussa Sadr Institute and daughter of Imam Sadr, Hoora Sadr. He underlined Iranian senior officials and Foreign Ministry intention in this concern. According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Amir-Abdullahian added that no acceptable evidence has been submitted by the Libyan officials so far on martyrdom of Imam Sadr. He also underlined necessity of cooperation and efforts of the Libyan officials to determine situation of Imam Sadr. Ms. Sadr, for her part, presented a report on the latest follow-up of the dossier considering developments in the region, especially in Libya and establishment of Lebanese fact-finding committee on the case./end
