Iran-Russia-China Co-op To Serve Their Strategic Interests

Moscow, March 17, IRNA – A member of Russia’s State Duma said Saturday that cooperation between Iran, Russia and China would serve their strategic interests. Vasily Likhachev told IRNA that the West is trying to hinder Iran-Russia-China trilateral cooperation . The Russian parliamentarian said the West is attempting to isolate both Iran and Russia at the international arena. He reiterated that such an isolation would lead to instability both in the region and in the entire globe. On Tehran-Moscow relations, he said bilateral cooperation would benefit both sides. Criticizing the US unilateral sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran, Likhachev stressed that Moscow is against such anti-Iran moves. He reiterated that dialogue would be the only mean to resolve the existing issues./end
