Iran seeks Libya’s help in obtaining release of Iranian aid workers

TEHRAN,Aug.11(MNA) – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian called on the Libyan government to cooperate with the Islamic Republic in obtaining the release of the Iranian aid workers recently abducted in Libya. According to The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, on July 31 at one o’clock in the morning, a group of armed people kidnapped a seven member delegation from the Iranian Red Crescent while they were leaving the headquarters of the Libyan Red Crescent in Banghazi.
