Iran to send aid to Myanmar: Iranian FM spokesman

TEHRAN, Aug.21(MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Saturday that the Iranian Red Crescent plans to send humanitarian aid to the Rohingya Muslims, who have been subjected to violence in Myanmar. In the wake of the recent brutality against the Rohingya Muslims, Iran’s ambassador to Thailand has traveled to Myanmar and has held talks with the country’s officials to facilitate the delivery of aid to the Muslim minority, Mehmanparast said.
