Iran Vice-president Arrives In Iraq For Talks

Tehran, Nov 12, IRNA – Vice-President for International Affairs Ali Saeedlou arrived in Baghdad to hold talks with senior Iraqi officials on issues of mutual interest. Saeedlou is in Iraq at the head of a high-ranking political and economic delegation. While in Baghdad, he is to hold separate meetings with Ibrahim al-Jaafari former prime minister of Iraq and Usama al-Nujayfi Speaker of Council of Representatives. Meanwhile, the Iranian diplomat will visit the city of Erbil in Iraq’s northern province of Kurdistan to attend the first Iran-Erbil economic meeting.
