Iranian EC chairman hopes Tehran NAM summit will mark a milestone

TEHRAN,Aug.26(MNA) – Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani expressed hope the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran, which opened today and closes on Friday, would mark a milestone in the history of the movement. During a meeting of the Expediency Council on Saturday, Rafsanjani also said that he is hopeful that the summit will help advance the goals of the movement and improve relations between the member states.
