Iranian EC chairman say he is not ready to run for presidential post

TEHRAN, Oct. 7 (MNA) – Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said though he is not constitutionally banned to field candidacy for president but he will not contest the post in the 2013 election. “Legally so far there is no ban, but I no longer have readiness for this job,” Rafsanjani said in an interview with the Arman newspaper.
