Iranian, Egyptian FMs hold talks on Syria

TEHRAN,Dec.22(MNA) – During a telephone conversation on Thursday, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Kamel Amr held talks about regional issues, particularly the Syrian crisis. Syria has been experiencing a political crisis since March 2011 and is now the scene of a violent conflict between government forces and armed rebel groups. Iran and Egypt, as two key regional players, are making efforts to help resolve the issue.
