Iranian fisherman freed from Qatari prison

TEHRAN,June 30(MNA) - Following intensive efforts by the Iranian Embassy in Doha, an Iranian fisherman, who had been arrested by Qatari coastguards for illegally entering the country’s waters, was released and returned home on Wednesday. Eight Iranian fishermen, who had been arrested for illegal border crossing, have been released from Qatari prisons since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 20).
