Iranian FM to attend OIC meeting on Mali

TEHRAN,May 13(MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi left Tehran for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday to attend an Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference over the Mali crisis. Saudi Arabia is hosting a ministerial meeting of its Mali Contact Group on Monday to discuss ways to help resolve the crisis in the West African country. The top Iranian diplomat will also hold meetings with a number of other countries’ officials on the sidelines of the forum.
