Iranian FM scheduled to discuss Syria in Doha

TEHRAN,June 30(MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi left Tehran for Doha on Saturday to meet new Qatari ruler Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and other high-ranking officials. During the visit, Salehi will discuss bilateral and regional issues with Qatari officials and will explain Tehran’s stance toward the Syrian crisis to help settle the issue through peaceful means. Iran has expressed hope that the new Qatari administration would revise its policy on Syria.
