Iranian general congratulates N. Korea on successful rocket launch

TEHRAN,Dec.15(MNA) - Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps on Wednesday congratulated North Korea on its successful launching of a rocket, which put a weather satellite into orbit on the same day. “Experience has shown that independent states can quickly tread the path of perfection and self-sufficiency in scientific and technological affairs through self-reliance if they have resilience and perseverance,” Jazayeri told. He added, “The hegemonistic powers, such as the United States, cannot hinder the development and progress of these countries.” The Iranian general also wished the North Korean people and government further success.
