Iranian MP criticizes Ahmadinejad’s public endorsement of Rahim-Mashaei

TEHRAN,May 13(MNA) – During a parliament session on Sunday, MP Ahmad Tavakkoli criticized the fact that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accompanied his advisor Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaei to the election headquarters of the Interior Ministry the previous day, saying it violated the law. Rahim-Mashaei registered for the June 14 presidential election on Saturday. Tavakkoli asked Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani to take a stance against the move to prevent it from setting a wrong precedent.
