Iranian Navy saves Singaporean ship from pirate attack

TEHRAN,July 8(MNA) – The Iranian Navy rescued a Singaporean merchant ship from pirates, while it was sailing in the Red Sea, the public relations department of the Iranian Navy reported on Saturday. According to the report, immediately after the Singaporean ship sent out a distress signal, the Iranian fleet was deployed to the region and put the pirates to flight through engaging in armed conflicts with them.
