Iranian president introduces nominee for labor minister

TEHRAN,April 25(MNA) – In a letter to Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Wednesday, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad introduced Asadollah Abbasi as his nominee for the post of cooperatives, labor, and social welfare minister. Abbasi must gain the parliamentarians’ vote of approval to be confirmed. Former labor minister Abdolreza Sheikholeslami was dismissed by the parliament on February 3.
