Iranian students to hold rally in support of Palestinian, Bahraini prisoners

TEHRAN, April 21 (MNA) – Iranian students planned to hold a rally outside the United Nations office in Tehran to express their support for mass hunger strikes of Palestinian and Bahraini prisoners. Students have also called on people from all walks of life to participate in the rally, which is scheduled to be held on April 23 at 5 p.m. in front of the United Nations office in Tehran. Some 1,600 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails began a mass hunger strike on Tuesday to protest their conditions, a Palestinian minister said, according to AFP.
