Iranian students protest French magazine’s blasphemy against Islam

TEHRAN,Oct.3(MNA) – Thousands of university and basiji seminary students held demonstrations in Tehran and other Iranian cities on Tuesday to condemn the French magazine that recently published a cartoon of Prophet Muhammad (S).
The magazine fueled the anger of the world’s Muslims, who had already been incensed at a U.S. film insulting the Prophet (S).
During the protests in Tehran, Kerman, and Tabriz, the demonstrators carried banners bearing various slogans, including “Down with France,” “Down with the United States,” “Down with Israel,” and “Yes to Prophet Muhammad (S).”
In a statement issued at the end of the protests, the demonstrators said that their shout today, which went up in support of the dignity of Prophet Muhammad (S), is a clear warning to the global arrogance (forces of imperialism) led by the Great Satan (the United States) and the fake Zionist regime.
