Iran`s Gharazi vows to form ‘anti-inflation government’

TEHRAN,June 3(MNA) – Mohammad Gharazi said that successive governments in Iran have caused inflation in the country through spending more than their revenues, promising to form an “anti-inflation government” if he is elected president. “An anti-inflation government is a government that does not spend more than its revenues,” Gharazi, an independent candidate, said during a televised interview on Saturday night. Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that the consumption pattern in Iran should be reformed to reduce the inflation rate. Iran ranks high in the world in terms of wasting energy, he added.
