Iran's Housing Minister: Expelling US, Great Achievement For Iraq

Tehran, Feb 22, IRNA – Minister of Housing and Urban Development Ali Nikzad said expelling American forces from Iraq is a great achievement for the Iraqi nation and government. He made the remark in a meeting with Iraq’s Minister of Construction and Housing Mohammad Saheb Al-Darraji on Tuesday, adding that such a move will lead to construction and prosperity of the country. He reiterated that Iran was in favor of a stable, progressive and secure Iraq which would have friendly ties with all its neighboring countries. Nikzad further voiced the readiness of Iranian engineers to help Iraq carry out construction projects./end
