Iran`s media supervisory board votes to close Maqreb newspaper

TEHRAN,March 12(MNA)– The supervisory board for the media voted on Monday to close the Maqreb newspaper for violating the press law. The editor-in-chief of the newspaper, Mehdi Emami Naseri, was arrested on March 6, for publishing a controversial piece on page 2 of the 10th edition of the newspaper.
