Iran`s Rezaei says all Iranian ethnic groups should be viewed equally

TEHRAN,June 9(MNA) – Mohsen Rezaei, an independent presidential candidate, said that no discrimination should be practiced against different Iranian ethnic groups. Talking at a gathering of people in the southern province of Khuzestan on Saturday, Rezaei emphasized that if elected president, people of all ethnic groups will be given a role in his government. Rezaei, who is the secretary of the Expediency Council, added that he will make efforts to create a better life for people and reduce poverty and unemployment, which he called a “great Jihad.” He also criticized the fact that the people of Khuzestan are mostly suffering from poverty and unemployment, while they sit on vast resources of natural wealth.
