Iran`s Rohani calls for expansion of ties with Azerbaijan

TEHRAN,July 7(MNA) – Iran welcomes the expansion of ties with neighboring Azerbaijan, Iranian President-elect Hassan Rohani said in response to a congratulatory message by Azeri President Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the June 14 election. Rohani said that good relations between Tehran and Baku, which are based on friendship and trust, will be strengthened by joint efforts of the two countries.
