Iran's VP: Sanctions, Opportunity For Development, Self-sufficiency

Tehran, July 4, IRNA – First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said that Iran has been under sanctions of bullying powers for years, but the sanctions are not only an obstacle in the way of Iran progress, but are an opportunity for self-sufficiency and development. According to the report of Presidential Office website on Tuesday afternoon, Rahimi, who was speaking in a meeting of working group of aerial development industry, by referring to considerable progress of the country in recent years, said that Iranians have always shown that they have great capacity and have been able to materialize the motto of 'we can'. He stressed that there are many opportunities in aerial industry and expressed hope that with using the capacities, Iran can witness a new move in the industry. In the meeting, a draft bill for strengthening and developing aerial industry, a plan to support manufacturers of light and ultra-light planes as well as study and research affairs related to aerial industry were discussed./end
