Iraq incentivizes citizens to return from Iran

TEHRAN,July 17(MNA) – The Iraqi government has announced that it will give financial incentives to the Iraqi refugees living in Iran to persuade them to return home, the director of the Interior Ministry Department for Foreign Refugee Affairs said on Monday. Mohammad Tahouri told the Mehr News Agency that the Iraqi government will give four million Iraqi dinars and 200 square meters of land anywhere in Iraq to the refugees who return to the country. He also said that 40,000 Iraqi refugees are now living in Iran.
