Iraqi president’s wife meets Iranian SNSC secretary

TEHRAN,May 7(MNA) – Hero Ibrahim Ahmed, the wife of Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, held a meeting with Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili in Tehran on Sunday. During the meeting, Ahmed briefed Jalili on the latest developments in Iraq, described bilateral relations as “friendly” and “deep-rooted,” and called for the expansion of ties in various areas. Jalili also emphasized that Iraqi issues should be resolved through constructive national dialogues.
