IRGC has control over world’s strategic energy reserves: Iranian commander

TEHRAN,Feb.23(MNA) – Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander Mohammad Ali Jafari announced on Friday that the IRGC has control over world’s strategic energy reservoirs, and called the enemies to stop the policy of intimidation against Iran. The IRGC chief made the remarks during a tour of the vessel and missile units of the IRGC Navy in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. Jafari also said, “Our naval force is working in terms of a vast geopolitical outlook, and is part of the country’s defensive strategy.” “Given the actual and potential defensive and offensive power of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the strategic deterrence might of the Sepah (IRGC), the hegemonistic system must revise its behavior toward the Islamic Republic,” Commander Jafari stated.
