IRGC will not endorse any presidential candidate

TEHRAN,Jan.20(MNA)– The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps will not endorse any candidate who will run in Iran’s presidential election, which is scheduled to be held on June 14, an IRGC general said on Saturday. Brigadier General Mohammad Hossein Sepehr also said that the IRGC’s role in elections and other areas is to safeguard the achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
