Islamic countries to convene in Istanbul for water

ANKARA (A.A) - March 4, 2012 - Members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will convene in Istanbul on Monday to develop a common vision regarding water. The conference of 62 OIC member countries, including 5 observers, will be inaugurated by Turkish Minister of Forestry and Water Works Veysel Eroglu. The conference will take place at the Istanbul Swiss Hotel. The participants will discuss potable water, irrigation, water energy and waste water.
