Kuwait calls for expansion of relations with Iran

TEHRAN,Jan.22(MNA) – Kuwait’s National Assembly Speaker Ali Fahad Al-Rashed called for the expansion of relations with Iran, saying that the Islamic Republic is one of the most influential countries in the region. The Kuwaiti official made the remarks on Monday during a meeting with Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on the sidelines of the eighth General Assembly Meeting of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union in Khartoum.
