Kyrgyz, Indian foreign ministers meet in Bishkek

Bishkek, Oct. 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Ala-Archa state residence in Bishkek is hosting a meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev and India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. During the meeting Kazakbaev noted the stable strengthening of interaction between the two countries in the framework of cooperation in a number of multilateral organizations. "I would especially like to emphasize the need to deepen political contacts between the two countries, as well as the existence of common positions and deep mutual understanding on a wide range of issues," the Kyrgyz minister said. In turn, External Affairs Minister of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar his Kyrgyz counterpart for the invitation to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan. In the course of the meeting, the sides plan to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral interaction and cooperation. Diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and India were established on March 18, 1992.
