L.Bold FM gives speech at CoD meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Taking part in the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold delivered a speech at a summit of the 10th meeting of the Community of Democracies’ (CoD) Board Wednesday in New York, USA. In his speech, the Minister expressed thanks to the member countries of the CoD Board for actively participating in the 7th CoD Ministerial Meeting last April in Ulaanbaatar and for significantly contributing to making this meeting fruitful. He urged the CoD members to back El Salvador, a new chair of the CoD. Mr Bold mentioned that the Mongolian President recently attended a high-level measure on civil society issues held in New York, backing any initiatives and proposals. Mongolia also joined the International Lifeline Fund (ILF), which is an expression of Mongolia's work and activeness in the CoD work, he said.
